From Community Engagement to Policy Change Webinar

A webinar about community engagement from Liz Baxter, Executive Director of the Oregon Public Health Institute and compliments of CityMatCH.

This aired last year and is still so relevant and important.  It focuses on strategies for engaging non-traditional partners, creating a shared vision and a common agenda to inform policy change, and the role of the community in policy change. Liz has extensive experience moving initiatives from concept, through design, implementation and operations that have led to the development of principles to guide healthcare reform, including the launch of a grassroots civic engagement organization. The organization centered on healthcare reform where she developed budgets and raised funds to carry out the organization's activities, engaging upwards of 7,500 people. Access talk from link, you do need to register and there is NO charge.
