Archived NFIMR Webinar

NFIMR, National Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition, CDC and CityMatCH presented a webinar on mother-to-child transmission of HIV and how the FIMR process is being used to develop strategies to eliminate perinatal transmission.  Text4baby also has an important role in this exciting work.  On Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 1 PM Eastern Time, a public-private partnership of multidisciplinary panelists identified the current status of maternal-fetal transmission of HIV; listed treatment approaches to eliminate transmission; discussed FIMR as strategy to identify system gaps for care delivery to HIV-positive women; and encouraged use of Text4baby as a resource.
