Child Abuse Prevention Month

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness of child abuse and neglect and to promote strong communities to support children and families. Visit the Administration for Children and Families' Child Welfare Information Gateway for information and resources including the Strengthening Families and Communities 2011 resource guide, an overview of the protective factors that promote children's health and well-being, and tip sheets for caregivers in English and Spanish.
